It got so bad that I decided to visit a doctor to get some “professional” advice.

"All he could do was recommend
prescription medications I could take."


But, I’m very weary of prescription drug side effects and decided to hold off before I read more about the different medications.

As it turns out, I was right, because I did more research into prescription meds to treat acid reflux like Prilosec, Prevacid or Nexium and found out some very interesting things.

While they work to treat the symptoms of acid reflux for a short time (4-6 weeks generally)… taking them over a long time can cause the body to produce more of a hormone called gastrin, which is basically the hormone that tells your stomach to produce more acid.

What happens is because the body has gastrin receptors on the esophageal, pancreatic, and gastric cancer cells, your over-production of gastrin may cause the cancer cells to grow in size.
